Christa Martinez, is a licensed social worker who has a passion for ensuring children and youth receive the supports they need to grow into healthy adults. Christa received her master’s graduate in social work from the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in social work from Walden University. Christa has devoted the past 6 years of her professional career in the field of child welfare. She has worked as a therapist for children, youth and families and currently serves as a Foster Parent Trainer, providing foster parents with tools to effectively serve the communities most vulnerable children.
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider Approval Number 886842050-2962) for 2 continuing education contact hours.
This course meets the basic criteria of the Maryland State Board for the Certification of Residential Child Care Program Professionals for CEUS. You will be issued a certificate upon completion of the course. A record of CEUs earned will be retained by the Sponsor.
